Chronic Fatigue Evaluation and Testing Information
Review the purpose and limitations of each test, its cost, and consultation about the results. Supplementary test values alone cannot confirm a disease diagnosis or guarantee treatment effectiveness, and medical staff evaluate your overall condition together.
What symptoms can I consult about?
You can consult us about persistent fatigue; difficulty falling asleep or feeling unrefreshed after sleeping; increased sensitivity to cold; and physical stamina and sleep problems accompanying female or male menopause. Fatigue can have various causes, including anemia, thyroid or sleep problems, and other diseases, so we first review your medical history and basic evaluation. Please bring previous test results and a list of medications and supplements you are taking.
What are the autonomic nervous system (HRV) test and advanced glycation end products (AGEs)?
HRV is a test that analyzes variations in intervals between heartbeats and uses them as a reference for autonomic nervous system-related indicators. Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) are substances formed when sugars react with proteins, fats, and other substances. Related measurements may be used as references when discussing lifestyle habits and metabolic status, but they are not tests that diagnose the cause of fatigue or various diseases such as cancer or dementia on their own. Confirm the specific purpose and necessity of testing during your consultation.
When should hormone testing be considered?
Depending on your symptoms and examination findings, we may check adrenal hormones such as cortisol, sex hormones such as estradiol and testosterone, and other necessary items. Interpretation may vary depending on the blood collection time and medications you take, so please receive instructions on preparation. Do not assume that you have a hormonal abnormality based solely on fatigue symptoms, and do not use hormones or supplements on your own.
What does the NK cell activity test check?
NK stands for natural killer cells, and the NK cell activity test uses blood to assess related functional indicators. A single value cannot determine overall immune function, whether cancer is present, or the effectiveness of infection prevention; symptoms, underlying conditions, and other test results are interpreted together. Consult us about the necessity of the test and the treatment plan based on the results.
What information does the urinary organic acid test provide?
This test analyzes various organic acid metabolites in urine. The panel may include indicators related to carbohydrate and fatty acid metabolism, energy production, neurotransmitters, metabolites related to lactic acid bacteria, general bacteria, and Clostridium, vitamin B and methylation coenzymes, and oxidation, antioxidation, and toxic substances. The items and scope of interpretation vary by test panel, and symptoms and other test results are evaluated together.
How is the urinary organic acid test performed, and when are the results available?
After registration, collect urine according to the instructions and send the specimen to the testing laboratory for analysis. Results are generally available in approximately 7~10 days, but this may vary depending on the laboratory's schedule. During the results consultation, confirm the test purpose and interpretation, as well as any necessary lifestyle and nutritional management plan. Follow the actual test instructions you receive regarding fasting, collection time, and preparation related to medications and supplements.
How are IV fluids·injections and nutritional management determined?
We provide individualized consultation on necessary treatment and nutritional management, taking into account the medical findings and approved uses. Confirm whether injections related to licorice·placenta, glutathione, alpha-lipoic acid, arginine, thymosin alpha 1 (Immune Alpha), and glutamine can be administered, as well as their indications, adverse reactions, and costs. The same injection combination or number of injections is not applied to everyone, and improvements in fatigue, immunity, or weight are not uniformly guaranteed.
What items and costs are included in the chronic fatigue and immune health screening?
The screening program costs 500,000원. It includes information on height, weight, body composition, blood pressure, smart electrocardiography, chest X-ray, autonomic nervous system-related testing, 22 basic blood tests (12 CBC items and 10 differential items), 42 detailed blood tests, and hair mineral and heavy metal testing. The detailed tests list thyroid, liver·kidney·pancreas, blood glucose·HbA1c, CRP, lipids, hepatitis A·B·C, iron·ferritin·folate, DHEA-S·cortisol, sex hormones·growth hormone, NK activity·homocysteine, and copper·zinc·selenium·manganese. Confirm the actual test composition and necessary items during consultation or appointment booking.
How much do the main individual tests cost?
According to the non-covered service information, the costs are 80,000원 for the NK immune cell activity test, 300,000원 for the urinary organic acid test, 30,000원 for the autonomic nervous system test, 50,000원 for the male menopause blood test, 150,000원 for the female menopause blood test, 120,000원 for 4 essential trace minerals, 150,000원 for 5 heavy metals, and 200,000원 for the hair heavy metal and mineral test. The listed cost for adrenal-related testing is 50,000원; first consult us about the specific measurement items and necessity. Confirm separately the costs of tests included in the program, individual tests, and insurance coverage.
How do you connect the results to lifestyle management?
We consider the course of fatigue, sleep·meals·activity and stress, and existing conditions together to establish an individualized plan. A balanced diet and regular sleep and activity are the foundation, while nutritional supplementation or medication is considered based on actual deficiencies and medical findings. If new symptoms develop or fatigue that affects your daily life persists, receive a reevaluation.
